Been a along time since i have posted but the car has been modified so much since last year!!!!

race day

this is at raceday with the sponsor and it was a very good day for racing not!!!
we had problems with an oil filter seal blowing out twice and dumping all the oil we had. not very happy...

i got qualifying done but qualified last but with in the 130% rule. I was stoked. It was very wet there and i ahd a big spin coming out of the left hander on to the straight that leads to kolb corner.

was a very bad day for racing...

its done finally. harness is in. window net is in. car drives rolls stops and does burnouts. just need to finish running her in.

this now with race numbers on should look when we finally finish it. There is now an electrical problem the dash and charge light dont want to illuminate.

In the shed

This how she will look on the track. Just finished bleeding brakes and rebuilding the suspension. Minor stuff left is to add radiator and fire up. Clean interior and add saftey gear thats about it. SO from getting it home and getting it to this stage has taken about 3 weeks. Not bad at all.

While doing a fire up on tuesday, I fried the regulator. I put this down to not having enough earths, need to add one from the body to the engine for a safety measure. Hopefully friday will prove better.

I had sent them the car about a month ago. They were really busy and i was just wondering how it was going. they ahd rubbed it back and were going to have it finished it two weeks. SWEET.

This is a 2 pac paint job an she looks awesome up close and will be a sweet ride out on the track.

hmm custom cluster

New dash, scungy wheel

This is my new cluster made from 5mm alloy plate bit of an over kill but hey when its done for free you dont care to much. THe guages are oil temp, water temp and oil pressure. The lights carry the same function as what the did from factory turn signals, charge light, oil pressure light, high beam. the guages even illuminate with the head lights on and change brightness with the dimmer switch.
